FAQ's

There are two ways to receive VFW Magazine.
 
1. All VFW members receive VFW Magazine at no cost as part of their membership.
2. Non-members can subscribe for $15 per year.
 

Annual membership dues are $45 and due on the anniversary of the date you joined the VFW or the date of annual renewal.


The Staunton Benefits Office serves the counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, and Rockingham; the cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro. Their office is in Greenbrier Office Complex,1600 North Coalter Street, Building 1, Suite 17B, Staunton, Virginia 24401. Telephone: (540) 332-8900.
Employee operating hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Veterans will be seen Monday – Friday by Appointment only between 8:30-11:30 with Walk-in hours from 1:00-3:00pm.  The office will be CLOSED to the public on the last business(540) 332-8900 day of the month.

Service Schedule
In Harrisonburg on Thursdays 9am-2pm at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 1755 S High St., Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Call for an appointment: 800-817-3807
 
In Monterey on the 4th Tuesday of the month 9:00am–2:00pm at the Highland County Public Library, 31 N Water St., Monterey, VA 24465. Call for an appointment: 540-332-8900
 
In Lexington on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 9am-2pm at VFW Post 1499, 105 Memorial Lane, Lexington. Call for appointment: 540-332-8900.
 

The monthly meeting of our membership is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in Foley Hall.
